The YOC
held another 24-hour bird race, starting at 9 pm on Saturday 8th June
and ending at 9 pm on Sunday 9th June 2002. Three teams took part, involving
10 people. The winning team, comprising Andy Booth, Rob Chapman, Alan
Hannington & Nigel Stewart, recorded 90 species.
In total, the three
teams recorded 97 species in the 24-hour period, all within the York
Recording Area.
