TreeSparrows.com - the site has been set up to record sightings of Tree Sparrows, particularly in the Harrogate area - although reports are welcomed from anywhere in the UL

Rawcliffe Meadows - A small, nature-rich site near the centre of York
Dean Birders This project was the result of two keen birdwatchers getting together and wanting to share their hobby with those that have difficulty getting out and about.
Doncaster and District Ornithological Society The website gives information about the organisation and also gives information of birding in Doncaster. It also offers feedback form visitors, and is updated regularly.
Which Club - An online directory of UK clubs & societies - not just birdwatching!
Scarborough Birders - This Scarborough-based bird club's has info on local sightings and club activities.
WWT Learn For Life - a new educational web site from The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust. Has a comprehensive range of National Curriculum-linked, cross-curricular materials about water, wetlands and wetland life.
Filey Brigg Ornithological Group - Useful year lists and some nice photos from this well-watched stretch of Yorkshire's coast
Peterborough Bird Club - Includes "where to watch", recent sightings and much more info about birding in this area
The Barn Owl Centre - A well designed and informative site about.. well, work it out!
Lancaster & District Birdwatching Society - Useful small collection of trip lists as well as info about the Society
Hull Valley Wildlife Group - an excellent resource site for birding the East Coast of Yorkshire
Potteric Carr Nature Reserve - A Yorkshire reserve (near Doncaster) owned by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

East Yorkshire RSPB Members Group Here's where you can get details of the famous boat trips to see breeding sea cliff birds and skuas / shearwaters
Yorkshire Naturalists Union Some good descriptions of the flora and fauna of Yorkshire. The site has yet to be fully developed.
Herts Bird Club Good local news reports, and novel mystery bird photo quiz!
Craven and Pendle RSPB Members Group and
York RSPB Members Group One of a number of websites that local RSPB groups have put up. This one is our local group in York
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds - a prestigious site, as you would expect, and one that has tremendous potential!
Ryedale Natural History Society A local Yorkshire site, with future potential for some good content
British Ornithologists' Union - Included here for the sake of completeness. A rather dull and unattractive site. OK if you want their list of publications and committee members
Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust - a well designed and informative site about all aspects of wildlife in this East Coast area of England. A newly designed site, with excellent info about the Trust's Reserves.
North West (England) Raptor Protection Group - who have done some excellent work!
Kent Ornithological Society An excellent local area site, with detailed descriptions of local bird reserves and other bird watching areas in Kent.

EuroBird Net - UK Section Summaries of the latest UK and European birding news - plus details of how to subscribe to the Email Discussion Lists of EBN and its UK section.
