The Annual Photographic Competition of the Club will be held on Tuesday 6th December 2011. Here are the guidelines and rules for submitting entries.

All entries must be submitted on CD, DVD or memory stick to Ian Newton (for his address click here) and must be posted to Ian or handed over to him no later than the Club meeting on Tuesday 1st November 2011. This is the absolute deadline, and it would be appreciated if you could submit your photos earlier than this.

Members are allowed to submit no more than 8 entries in each of the three categories below:

1) British (non-digiscoped)
2) Foreign (non-digiscoped)
3) Digiscoped (any location)

You can put all your images for each category on a separate CD / DVD, and each disk should be clearly marked, with your name and indicating which category the disk is intended for.

Alternatively, you could put entries for separate categories in separate folders on the disk. Again, the folder names should indicate the categories that the images fall in to.

The images must be in JPEG format (.jpg) and must be sized at 1024 x 768 pixels as shown in the PDF which you can download from the link below - although Ian can resize them for you if absolutely necessary.

There are detailed instructions on how to resize images in a PDF, which you can download by clicking here (right-click and select "Save As.." to save to your choice of folder on your computer)

Ian has also kindly agreed to try to enhance any submissions to help people who are not "PhotoShop" savvy!
