What you will need To use our spreadsheet, you will need either Microsoft Excel, (part of the Microsoft Office suite of programs) or, alternatively, the Open Office suite, which is free software from Sun Microsystems. You can download Open Office from http://www.openoffice.org/ (opens in a new window). This is a very reliable alternative to Microsoft Office. You will also need software to "unzip" the spreadsheet file, unless you are using a Mac. If you have Winzip installed, you'll have no problem. If not, you can get a free unzip program from http://www.jzip.com/ (opens in a new window) Downloading the spreadsheet New versions: updated 7 December 2011 Download the YOC spreadsheet from here Windows users: Right-click on the above link, select "Save Target As.." and then select the folder on your hard drive where you want to save the file. Mac users: click on the link and the file will download and unzip in your Download folder. If you are using Microsoft Excel 2008 for Mac or Open Office's spreadsheet software, use this download link: Download the YOC spreadsheet for Excel 2008 for Mac and Open Office Again, Windows users: right-click on the link, select "Save Target As.." and choose where you want to save the file. Instructions and problems Once you have downloaded the file, use your unzip software to extract the spreadsheet to a folder on your hard drive. Basic instructions for entering your records are inside the spreadsheet.
