Programme of Events 2008

Non-members are most welcome at any of our events, we are sure you will enjoy yourself and want to join and support your local group. Members receive our regular newsletter, advance notice of group activities, reduced price entry into our evening meetings and, of course, the opportunity to see lots of birds.

Important Notes:

Indoor Meetings: All indoor meetings are held in Temple Hall, York St. John College, Lord Mayors Walk, York, and start at 7.30pm. There is good wheelchair access to the venue. An admission charge of £2.00 for local group members and £2.50 for visitors is payable to cover the cost of the event.

Outings / Local Walks: Warm waterproof clothing and walking boots or wellingtons are recommended, plus a packed lunch when necessary. You are required to follow leaders' instructions and comply with the Country Code.

Car Outings: For details, please contact Colin Rafton. Car parking is available in York St. John College grounds for a nominal fee of £1.00, payable to your trip leader.
